Reaping Reparations for Robo-Signing!

After dealing with several of these, and other, banks with my bankruptcy clients I’m glad we’re finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.

Ohio is receiving $335 million of the National Mortgage settlement in order to compensate families and individuals who were victims of the robo-signing done by Ally, BOA, Citi, JPMorgan and Wells Fargo from 2008-2011. Minimum payments to these individuals and families are set and Ohio has allocated $44 million to families directly with the remaining funds split between the AG’s office, prevention programs and loan modifications.

To check your eligibility or to check eligibility several contact numbers have been set up:
Ally – 800-766-4622
BOA – 877-488-7814
Citi – 866-272-4749
JP Morgan – 866-372-6901
Wells Fargo/Wachovia – 800-288-3212

You can also contact the National Mortgage Settlement hotline at 866-430-8358!

While a number of our clients are affected by this settlement still many more are pursuing their rights and protections through bankruptcy and foreclosure defense.
